Chris Brown Charged With Hit-And-Run, Faces Prison Time

Chris Brown faces two charges of criminal hit-and-run stemming from an accident the singer was involved in last month. Brown faces four years in prison if a judge deems that he violated his probation.


Chris Brown has been charged with criminal hit-and-run,according to TMZ.com. The Los Angeles City Attorney has filed two criminal charges against Brown stemming from an incident last month where Brown rear-ended another vehicle, according to the report. He then allegedly refused to share his driver's license number and provided the other party with false insurance information before leaving the scene, according to the report. 
Brown has been charged with hit-and-run for leaving the scene without exchanging proper insurance information and has also been charged with driving without a valid license, according to TMZ. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of six months in jail for each offense, according to the site.
